Introduction

As we emerge from the Coronavirus pandemic and face to face meetings become possible again we are, for the first time, planning a meeting that will be run jointly by the Drug Metabolism Discussion Group (DMDG), Group of Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics (GMP) and the Swedish Academy of Pharmaceutical Sciences (SPS).

We have produced a fantastic programme, which caters for the breadth of membership from all of our organisations. All meeting sessions will be held in English.

We are pleased to announce that our highly popular and entertaining debate returns this year, providing a balanced yet lively debate on another topical issue. Another highlight of the meeting will be the annual SPS 'Candlelight Lecture'. More details will be provided in the programme soon.

Call for speakers
If you are interested to speak in one of the sessions, please get in touch with the session chairs. The contact details and a description of the sessions can be found on the draft program. The deadline for speaker abstracts is Friday 27 May.

For any hot topics or interesting case studies that don't fit within the regular sessions, please contact the Free Communications session chairs.

Call for poster abstracts
If you would like to present a poster, please tick the relevant box on the registration form and download this abstract template. Then send your completed poster abstract to info@dmdg.org. The deadline for poster abstracts is now Friday 16 September.

Sponsorship opportunities
There are a number of sponsorship packages on offer to enable sponsors to fully participate in the meeting and the scientific discussion. The delegate pass will include access to all of the talks and the poster session. To see more information on the benefits of sponsoring the meeting and to book your sponsorship, please download the Sponsorship Opportunities document.

Additional information about the associations can be found at www.dmdg.org, https://gmp.asso.fr/, www.apotekarsocieteten.se and www.lakemedelsakademin.se.

On behalf of the 2022 Joint Meeting Organizing Committee, we very much look forward to meeting you in October.
