Feedback from our Joint Meeting in January 2021:

  • "The web interface was excellent. I attended/contributed to several on line meetings this past year and this one, with the virtual auditorium and the other "rooms" really stands out"

  • "Well done to the organizing committee and to the technical team for making such a good event possible. It was much better than a long webinar/zoom call"

  • "Although I always prefer face to face meetings, I thought the online platform was great and it exceeded my expectations. The 'bar' area for interacting with others was also great."

  • "I highly enjoyed the debate. These sessions are fantastic and I congratulate the idea givers, the speakers and the facilitator."

  • "Superb meeting, kudos to all organisers and speakers, thank you. Debate was excellent and entertaining."

Hot on the heels of the (2020 postponed) Joint Meeting held online in January 2021, we revert back to our ‘home meeting’ online for 2021. This year we celebrate 50 years of the DMDG, and we aim to make the most of this landmark event.

Once again we have some exciting new topic areas for our sessions including COVID19 – what have we learned? - Mechanistic safety - Non-invasive imaging - PKPD in special populations - Analytics of new modalities - Genes as medicines - Training and recruiting the next generation of scientists.....and much much more. We have some parallel sessions as well to increase the topics available to you.

We will have the popular poster blitz session and, continuing on from the success past Open Meetings, there will be another fun debate, this time hosted by Simon Taylor. There will be the usual Free Communications session, a unique reflection on 50 years of the DMDG and a look at what the DMDG has planned for 2022 and beyond.

Further discussion and networking is encouraged via the DMDG Virtual networking Café and video interaction is possible with poster presenters and exhibitors in our bespoke DMDG Virtual Venue, which has been further developed since January 2021.

There are a number of sponsorship packages on offer to enable sponsors to fully participate in the meeting and the scientific discussion. The delegate pass will include access to all of the talks and the poster session. Sponsorship information can be found here.
